Our pâtés are produced at two facilities – at the Sanpareil manufacturing facility in Belgium and at Alimpex Maso s.r.o. in Dobřejovice near Prague. The two companies began cooperating in 2005 and the Sanpareil company finally joined the ALIMPEX FOOD a.s. group in 2010. The production facilities currently work with each other very closely, exporting their products throughout Europe and many countries outside Europe.

SANPAREIL
Pâté production began in 1948 in a small butcher’s shop in Belgium. The owner founded the Sanpareil company in 1960 and decided to specialise in liver pâtés. The pâtés became so popular that from 1965, Sanpareil started exporting its products to Germany, Holland, France, Luxembourg, Great Britain, and Ireland. The flavours were gradually modified to reflect the preferences of customers in individual countries where pâté was being exported. Sanpareil makes its pâté in both traditional and original flavours and applies the same to packaging. The company introduced the first pâté in modern retail packaging in 1971. Sanpareil consequently became the first pâté manufacturer to export its products to the USA, Sweden, Iceland, Bermuda, and Canary Islands. Sanpareil is currently one of the largest producers of liver pâté in Europe. As much as 75% of production is made for export under the company’s Sanpareil brand or under the store brands of the most prestigious supermarkets.
